Chris is a classically trained pianist and piano teacher who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Victoria.
After his graduation, he began his teaching career in Richmond. His attentiveness to musical nuances and professional piano pedagogical approach, has helped many of his students have successful performances and RCM piano examinations. Chris has taught hundreds of students over years and his mission has remained to inspire young musicians and help adult students fall in love with piano.
When Chris is not teaching piano, he enjoys transcribing music for 2 pianos to help his
students experience the joy of performing duets with other students of similar level. During his time at university, Chris found tremendous artistic inspiration in Mozart’s operas such as “The Marriage of Figaro” and “The Magic Flute”, which he has transcribed and made available to his students and the public in general.
