Coloratura Soprano Olivia Kang is driven to communicate with her community and is passionate about engaging them through music and storytelling. With over 5 years of experience as a teacher, her primary goal is to guide her students towards finding pure joy through music.
In the realm of opera, Kang has established herself with a remarkable repertoire, taking on remarkable roles including L’Amour in “Orphee et Eurydice,” La Fée in “Cendrillon,” The First Witch in “Dido|Aeneas,” Fido in “Paul Bunyan,” L’Architecture in “Les arts florissants,” Despina in “Così fan tutte,” and Adele in “Die Fledermaus.”
Olivia Kang completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Seoul in Seoul, South Korea. She studied with Nancy Argenta and Ingrid Attrot at the Victoria Conservatory of Music and her Master of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Manitoba under the tutelage of Tracy Dahl.
