About the role
New West Music is a busy, family-focused music school looking for a reliable, organized, and friendly Lessons Coordinator / Receptionist to support our day-to-day operations. This role is essential to keeping the school running smoothly and providing excellent service to our families, students, and teachers.
You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager and handle scheduling, communication, sales, data entry, and new student bookings. If you are a collaborative multitasker who loves helping families and works well within defined administration systems, you will excel in this position.
What you’ll do (Requirements)
- Support front desk tasks and general administrative duties
- Deliver strong communication and helpful customer service to our community
- Answer phone calls and respond to incoming emails professionally
- Manage sales/booking paths and onboarding workflows for new registrants
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and dependable with daily task logs
- Remain calm under pressure; stay friendly and professional with visiting families
- Multitask efficiently while closely following clear, established systems
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of face-to-face or front desk customer service experience
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive setups)
- Understanding CRM softwares
- Ability to work on Saturdays
Desirable Assets (Preferred)
- Previous experience working inside a music school, creative studio, childcare facility, or service-based business environment
