Russell Klyne is a Vancouver-based musician, professional guitarist, and educator with over 30 years of experience in the music industry. Throughout his career, Russ has toured and recorded with a diverse range of acclaimed Canadian and international artists, including Mike Reno of Loverboy, Bif Naked, Juno Award-winning hip-hop artist K-os, and Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado.
His television performance credits include appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Show with David Letterman, and MuchMusic. As a touring musician, Russ has performed extensively across Canada, the United States, and Europe.
In addition to his work as a performer, Russ is a highly sought-after session musician and guitar instructor. He is proficient in a wide variety of musical styles and continues to perform with many of Vancouver’s leading cover and original music projects. Russ also serves as an instructor at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, where he shares his passion and expertise with the next generation of musicians.
Russ holds a Diploma in General Music from Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton, Alberta, providing a strong educational foundation that complements his extensive professional experience.
