Russell Klyne is a Vancouver-based musician, professional guitarist, and educator with over 30 years of experience in the music industry. Throughout his career, Russ has toured and recorded with a diverse range of acclaimed Canadian and international artists, including Mike Reno of Loverboy, Bif Naked, Juno Award-winning hip-hop artist K-os, and Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado.
His television performance credits include appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Show with David Letterman, and MuchMusic. As a touring musician, Russ has performed extensively across Canada, the United States, and Europe.
In addition to his work as a performer, Russ is a highly sought-after session musician and guitar instructor. He is proficient in a wide variety of musical styles and continues to perform with many of Vancouver’s leading cover and original music projects. Russ also serves as a percussion instructor at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, where he shares his passion and expertise with the next generation of musicians.
Russ holds a Diploma in General Music from Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton, Alberta, providing a strong educational foundation that complements his extensive professional experience.
